On Tuesday, a devastating accident in Thailand resulted in the deaths of 23 people, many of them children, when a school bus caught fire near Bangkok.
The bus was transporting 40 passengers, including students and teachers on a field trip, when the fire broke out, turning the vehicle into a deadly inferno.
Emergency crews, including firefighters and rescue teams, rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames.

However, the damage was severe, leaving the bus completely charred and causing numerous casualties. All the victims have been identified.

Acting Royal Thai Police Chief Kittirat Phanphet stated in a press conference that witnesses, including surviving teachers, reported that the fire spread quickly after a spark from one of the bus's wheels ignited a gas cylinder that powered the vehicle. Some students managed to escape by jumping out of the windows.
