Dancehall artiste Squash was recently arrested in Florida on multiple gun-related charges, sparking widespread discussion online. In response, his mother, Shelly-Ann Millwood, took to TikTok to address critics and defend her son.
Millwood acknowledged that while the situation is difficult, she is relieved that her son is still alive. She expressed that anyone could find themselves in a similar position and that prison is not exclusive to any one group of people.
She also called out individuals who she believes are celebrating Squash’s arrest, suggesting that their negativity stems from envy rather than personal grievances.
Millwood thanked those who remained fair in their comments but strongly criticized one person in particular for wishing harm upon her son.
