YSL rapper Yak Gotti, whose legal name is Deamonte Kendrick, is facing more than just legal battles as part of the ongoing YSL trial. According to reports from TMZ, the rapper was injured during a violent altercation at Fulton County Jail in Georgia.
The incident occurred on Sunday at the South Annex facility in Union City, where Yak was allegedly attacked by another inmate with a sharp object.

His lawyer, Doug Weinstein, confirmed that Yak sustained a slash wound to his scalp and required 4 to 5 staples. Fortunately, he did not need hospitalization and is expected to recover.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office stated the situation is under investigation to determine the aggressor and whether charges will be filed. No details have been shared about the other inmate or a potential motive behind the attack.
