TikToker Moya is refusing to back down after being physically assaulted alongside her boyfriend, TJ Thuglife, at a party on November 30. The incident took place during dancer Dancing Rebel’s birthday celebration at the Mas Camp Car Park in Kingston. It reportedly involved artiste manager Romeich Major and an off-duty officer, and the matter is now under investigation.
Despite receiving an apology from Major, Moya has chosen not to accept it. Instead, she has retained well-known attorney Peter Champagnie Q.C., J.P., to pursue justice. In a recent video, Moya opened up about the toll the experience has taken on her mental health, as well as her determination to stand up for others who might not have the resources to fight back.
“This isn’t just for me,” she shared. “At the same event, a young boy was also assaulted, possibly by the same group. It’s crazy to me that this could happen, and no one is held accountable.”
Moya admitted that the legal process is costly but insists that walking away is not an option. She emphasized her commitment to addressing violence and corruption, even at the risk of her own safety. “If no one stands up to face these issues, how will things ever improve?"
