Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls delivered a stellar performance on Tuesday, November 26, defeating the England Roses 61-53 in the final match of the Vitality Netball Horizon Series at the National Indoor Sports Centre. The victory sealed a 2-1 series win, showcasing the team’s determination and skill.

Despite trailing 15-11 after the first quarter, the Sunshine Girls found their rhythm in the second, tying the score at 20-20 before surging to a 28-25 halftime lead. They maintained their edge in the second half, finishing the game with a commanding eight-point margin.

This triumph followed a nail-biting 50-49 win just a day earlier, marking a successful series against the world’s second-ranked team. The event drew a large crowd, including Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Sports Minister Olivia Grange, making it a memorable occasion for fans and players alike.
