Despite losing to Jake Paul in their recent bout at AT&T Stadium, Mike Tyson is embracing his return to the ring with a sense of victory.
The boxing legend, who went toe-to-toe with Paul in front of over 70,000 fans, shared his thoughts on social media, expressing pride and gratitude for the experience.
For Tyson, the fight was about more than just the result—it was about proving resilience. After a serious health scare earlier this year, Tyson’s journey back to the ring was nothing short of remarkable.
In June, he was hospitalized for 11 days after collapsing during a flight. Doctors performed multiple blood transfusions, and Tyson lost 25 pounds while recovering. Yet, against all odds, he pushed forward, delaying the fight instead of canceling it.
Tyson said the fight was especially meaningful because his children got to witness him face off against an opponent half his age. “No man has the right to ask for more,” he wrote, proud to step back into the ring on his terms.
Hate on Jake Paul all you want, but he's on our side.

"Thank you America. It's the era of truth. It's the era of good. There's a shift in the world, and good is rising. The truth is rising. I'm just honored to be a part of America, and it feels like we're back." pic.twitter.com/3xAoXAdtpV
Jake Paul also shared his admiration for Tyson after the fight, calling him an inspiration. Though Paul admitted to going easy on the veteran boxer in later rounds, Tyson remained undeterred.
For Tyson, the loss didn’t tarnish the experience. It wasn’t about the outcome; it was about the journey—a testament to his enduring fighting spirit.
