Jamaican singer Diana King, known for hits like Shy Guy and her duet Treat Her Like a Lady with Celine Dion, is embracing her 54th year with unapologetic authenticity.

The Spanish Town native celebrated her birthday on November 8 by unveiling a fresh and confident look on social media, marking a new chapter in her life. In 2018, King married Jamaican violinist Mijanne Webster.

In a video shared on her Twitter/X page, King reflected on her journey with pride and resilience.

The video included clips of her in good spirits, with one powerful moment showing her topless in a park, revealing the scars from her breast removal surgery. Alongside the imagery, she boldly declared, “54, much more in store.”

The celebration also coincided with Trans Awareness Week, a cause close to her heart. In 2022, King had launched a GoFundMe to raise funds for her top surgery, a step she described as empowering and transformative.
