Woman Survives After Being Struck by a High-Speed Train in Georgia

A woman from Georgia had a life-altering experience after being hit by a high-speed train, yet somehow walking away unharmed. The incident, captured on video by an onlooker, took place near Tbilisi, Georgia, close to the country’s border with Russia.

The woman, identified as Nini Lomidze, was posing for photos near the railway tracks. In the video, she can be seen standing close to the edge, preening and striking different poses. Despite the approaching train's blaring horn, which served as a warning, Nini appeared unaware of the danger until it was too late. The train hit her, sending her flying to the ground, as horrified onlookers, including her friends, screamed in terror.

What makes this story truly remarkable is that Nini walked away from the accident with no serious injuries. Given the high-speed impact, the outcome could have been far worse. Speaking about the incident, Nini explained that it was a complete accident. She told Need To Know that she hadn’t realized the tracks were in use at the time. Even when she heard the train's horn, she initially saw nothing. It wasn’t until moments later that she noticed the train bearing down on her, giving her no time to react.

While such accidents can often lead to tragic outcomes, Nini emerged unscathed and emphasized that the fault did not lie with the train operator or anyone else. In her words, it was a "freak accident" that could have happened to anyone. Despite the terrifying ordeal, she considers herself extremely fortunate to have walked away from the scene virtually unharmed.
