Over the weekend, a bull caused a major commotion at the 84th Sisters Rodeo in Deschutes County, Oregon, injuring four people in a dramatic escape that left spectators in shock.

The sold-out event, held about 20 miles from Bend, took an unexpected turn when Party Bus, a bull participating in the rodeo, broke free from the arena. The chaos was captured by many witnesses on their cell phones, documenting a night that started as a typical rodeo and ended in a frenzy.

The incident began with Party Bus running in circles within the arena, while cowboys on horseback tried to lasso him. Without warning, the bull made a sudden detour, leaping over the arena fence and charging into the crowd.

From there, Party Bus made its way to a concession area outside the stadium, hurdling over a bench and knocking over a giant garbage can before colliding with two individuals and sending them flying through the air.

Panic ensued among the spectators, with some brave attendees attempting to chase down the rogue bull. The ordeal finally ended when livestock handlers managed to corral Party Bus into a holding pen.

Deschutes County officials reported that three people sustained injuries from the bull’s rampage, with two of them requiring hospital treatment. Additionally, a sheriff's deputy was injured while responding to the chaotic situation. Fortunately, all injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

As the Sisters Rodeo reflects on this wild night, attendees and organizers alike are grateful that the outcome wasn’t more severe.
