In a haunting and tragic incident, a mother of four in Indonesia was swallowed by a massive python. The heartbreaking event took place on Thursday as Farida, the victim, made her way through a forest near her home in Kalumpang, a rural area in the Mamuju Regency of West Sulawesi, en route to a local market.

The snake attacked swiftly, biting her leg and then coiling around her with lethal force. After strangling her, the python proceeded to swallow her whole, beginning with her head.
