Taylor Swift's legend continues to grow, with new footage revealing her heroics in extinguishing a fire in her New York City apartment. The incident, which occurred in her $50 million Tribeca pad, was captured on video and recently shared by her singer friend, Gracie Abrams.

Abrams, who spoke about the incident earlier in the week, revealed to Billboard that she and Taylor had stayed up all night writing her new song "Us" when the fire broke out in another room. The fire started after a candle from their dinner party fell over, but they didn't initially realize what had happened.
When they finally discovered the fire, Abrams recorded the scene as a barefoot Taylor grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the flames on the kitchen island. Their purses and shoes, which were left on the island, were ruined by the fire extinguisher fumes, and both singers were left coughing.
Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. @taylorswift13 now we know how to use a fire extinguisher. I love you. pic.twitter.com/aJtqSgmUdR

Throughout the ordeal, Abrams was visibly panicked behind the camera, but Taylor remained composed and efficiently handled the situation.
