Rapper Sexyy Red found herself in hot water after being arrested in New Jersey for a minor offense. What initially seemed like a simple arrest turned out to be part of a much larger incident involving a brawl, captured on surveillance footage.
Early Saturday morning, Sexyy Red was taken into custody at Newark Liberty International Airport. According to law enforcement, she and her companions were involved in a physical altercation with another group at one of the airport terminals. In the video, a few men can be seen tumbling into the frame, immediately engaging in a fistfight. Shortly after, Sexyy Red, identified by her red bonnet, enters the scene. While she appears ready to join the fray, she instead picks up a stand from the ground and waves it around, seemingly prepared to use it as a weapon. Fortunately, someone intervened and pulled her away before she made contact with anyone.
Airport security personnel can be seen scrambling to control the situation as individuals go in and out of a terminal door. Eventually, police arrived and arrested several people involved in the fight, including Sexyy Red.
The Port Authority has informed TMZ that Sexyy Red was arrested for disorderly conduct, while others involved in the altercation faced assault charges. The victims of the brawl were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Sexyy Red has already addressed the incident on social media. She posted over the weekend, mentioning that she "just got out" and even offered to replace the phone of those she clashed with during the altercation. Her response suggests she is taking the situation in stride.
