Tom Guiry, best known for his role as Smalls in the beloved movie "Sandlot," has found himself in legal trouble once again. The actor was arrested on June 2 after a strange and destructive outburst involving a 35-pound dumbbell and a white Jeep.
According to footage obtained by TMZ, Guiry is seen lifting the heavy weight behind his head and forcefully dropping it onto a Jeep’s windshield, shattering it completely. After causing the damage, Guiry nonchalantly walked across two manicured lawns and returned inside, with the dumbbell rolling off the car's hood.
The Horry County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call and found Guiry standing in the middle of the street. During the encounter, Guiry inquired about his wife, which led to the Jeep’s owner shouting, "Really? My window's been shattered." Guiry immediately apologized, saying, "That sucks man, I'll pay you back, I'm sorry, I'm gonna get you back." He continued to express his regret, admitting, "I did it. I'm sorry man. I'm coming back to get you ... sorry brother, I'll pay you back."
In a further twist, the Jeep’s owner alleged that Guiry had approached his door earlier and rang the doorbell while holding a knife, a claim supported by video evidence. This alarming behavior added to the tension of the situation.
As a result, Guiry was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and malicious damage. This incident is not Guiry's first run-in with the law. Back in 2013, he was arrested in Texas for allegedly attempting to kick a police officer in the face and headbutting him.
