A shocking accident in Vancouver left two people hospitalized when a small floatplane collided with a pleasure boat. The dramatic event, captured on video, shows the floatplane using the boat as a ramp as it failed to lift off the water in time.

The chaos unfolded on Saturday around 1 PM, when a Harbour Air floatplane was prepping for takeoff. In the video, the plane strikes the boat with such force that it sends the boat spinning toward the plane before it starts to sink. Thankfully, none of the passengers or the pilot aboard the sightseeing tour floatplane were injured. However, two individuals from the pleasure boat required treatment at a hospital for their injuries.

In response to the incident, a spokesperson for Harbour Air stated that the company is cooperating closely with authorities to support those affected by the collision.
