Brawl Breaks Out Among Celtics Fans During NBA Finals Watch Party

The intensity of the NBA finals wasn’t confined to the court this year. During Game 4, as the Boston Celtics faced off against the Dallas Mavericks, a separate battle unfolded among Celtics fans at TD Garden arena in Boston.

On Friday night, Celtics fans had gathered at the arena for a viewing party to watch the game happening at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The atmosphere, however, took a violent turn when a physical altercation erupted between two men seated near each other in the crowd.

Captured on video, the incident shows a younger man standing over an older man, using his head as a punching bag. Several bystanders and a security guard tried to intervene and separate the two, as the older man cowered on the cement stairs.

Surprisingly, after the initial assault, the older man stood up, climbed the stairs, and began sparring with another man. Notably, all three individuals involved in the fracas were wearing green Celtics jerseys, making it a peculiar sight.

The reasons behind the brawl remain unclear. As of now, it is not known if any of the involved parties were ejected from the stadium or if law enforcement was called to investigate. Inquiries to the Boston Police Department for comment have not yet been answered.
