Sean Kingston's Mother Released After Arrest in Florida Raid

Sean Kingston's mother is once again breathing the fresh Florida air after spending four days behind bars. Janice Turner was bailed out following her arrest during a raid at Sean's house. The Broward County Sheriff's raid on the singer's Florida home occurred on Thursday, and Janice was taken into custody just hours before Sean.

According to court records, Janice, 61, is facing eight charges, including conducting an organized scheme to defraud, grand theft, and identity theft. She was apprehended on a warrant for fraud and theft. After her bail hearing on Friday, Janice posted a $160,000 bond to secure her release. The Broward County jail confirmed her release on Sunday around 5:54 PM.

Sean Kingston was also arrested on the same warrant just a few hours later but on the opposite coast. He had just finished a performance at Fort Irwin, California, when authorities arrested him immediately afterward. Sean has been held in the San Bernardino County jail throughout the weekend. He is scheduled for an extradition hearing on Tuesday before being sent back to Florida.

Janice, who has a 2005 conviction for bank fraud, might find Sean's home in Southwest Ranches, FL, quite empty upon her return due to the raid. TMZ obtained exclusive pictures inside the house, revealing some of the items confiscated by the police, including a giant LED TV screen worth $150,000.

Authorities allege that over a six-month period, Sean and his mother stole nearly $500,000 in jewelry, over $200,000 from Bank of America, $160,000 from a car dealer, $100,000 from First Republic Bank, and even $86,000 for a customized bed.
