Nicki Minaj announced that she is working on rescheduling her canceled concert in England after her recent drug-related arrest. The rapper also took a moment to apologize to her fans for the inconvenience.
On Saturday night, Nicki posted a message on X, explaining that she had just arrived at her hotel in Manchester after spending about six hours in an Amsterdam jail. The ordeal began when military police officers at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport apprehended her for possession of "soft drugs." Nicki live-streamed part of the incident, clarifying that the drugs, which were pre-rolled joints, actually belonged to her security guard and not her.
Nicki reassured her fans that she has "sooooooooo much video evidence" of the situation and vowed that her "lawyers & God" would take it from there.
In her message to fans, Nicki expressed her regret, stating, "Please please please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies. They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today but this too, shall pass."
Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.
