Country singer Kellie Pickler has turned a new page by selling her longtime Tennessee home, where her husband, Kyle Jacobs, tragically took his own life. According to property records obtained by TMZ, Pickler closed the sale on the custom-built Nashville residence on May 15, selling it for $2.3 million.

The Tudor-style home, which features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, first went on the market in November with an initial listing price of $2.89 million. After seeing little interest, the price was reduced to $2.6 million in March, and eventually, a buyer was found following another price reduction

Although the final sale price was below the original listing, Pickler still made a considerable profit. She had purchased the 4,865 square-foot home in February 2010 for $1.435 million.

This sale marks the end of a painful period for Pickler, coming nearly 15 months after the tragic death of her husband, Kyle Jacobs. Jacobs was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the upstairs bedroom/office of the home.

While Tennessee law does not require sellers to disclose deaths that occurred on the property, Pickler's public profile likely meant that prospective buyers were aware of the home's history.

Kellie Pickler and Kyle Jacobs tied the knot in 2011 and shared their lives with fans on the reality TV show "I Love Kellie Pickler," which aired for three seasons starting in 2015.
