Gypsy Rose Blanchard seems to be realizing that fame isn't all it's cracked up to be and is considering transitioning to a regular 9-5 job, including potentially working at McDonald's.
As many know, Blanchard has been in the public eye due to her tragic story, but her celebrity status surged following her release from prison in December. With all the attention, she's now reassessing her future.
Gypsy is taking stock of her life and what lies ahead, saying, "Everything's been hyped up, and I've had some great opportunities, but I don't see them lasting. There comes a time when I have to make a choice." She told ET, "And that is, when do I say enough is enough? And I think after so long of having my name in the spotlight, that time is coming really soon."
She seems to be seriously considering life away from the cameras. Surprisingly, working at McDonald's is high on her list because she loves their French fries. Gypsy is also considering a retail job, particularly at Sephora, due to her passion for makeup.
Fans of Blanchard don't need to worry just yet, as her departure from the celebrity scene isn't happening immediately. She's still settling into post-prison life and handling tasks like learning to drive before diving into the job market.
Her recent comments followed her public denouncement of her celebrity status. In a lengthy Instagram post, she emphasized that she is a survivor first and is still on her healing journey as a victim of Munchausen by proxy.
Despite having embraced fame following her release—with projects like her docuseries with Lifetime—Gypsy now seems ready to leave the spotlight behind and lead a normal life.
