Cam'ron's CNN Interview Goes Off the Rails Over Diddy-Cassie Video

Cam'ron's interview with CNN took a chaotic turn Monday night when the topic of discussion shifted to the Diddy-Cassie video incident. The New York rapper sat down with "NewsNight" host Abby Phillip, but their conversation quickly went south when Phillip broached the subject of Diddy, much to Cam'ron's frustration.

The tension began when Phillip asked Cam'ron if he recognized the man in a 2016 surveillance video showing Diddy assaulting Cassie at L.A.'s InterContinental Hotel. Cam'ron condemned Diddy's behavior, describing it as "egregious." However, he soon grew agitated and responded, "I don't know him like that. What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What do you mean my experiences?"

The interview took a further downturn when Phillip mentioned Diddy's recent apology video. On Sunday, Diddy issued an apology for his actions but did not directly apologize to Cassie due to a non-disclosure agreement that prevents him from publicly mentioning her name.

Cam'ron lashed out at Phillip, saying, "The apology ain't for me to decide, it's for Cassie. He ain't do nothing for me. What I think about it don't matter." After a few more tense exchanges, Cam'ron downed a shot of his sexual intimacy supplement, PinkHorsePower, and plugged the product, claiming he was going to get "some cheeks" after drinking it.

Attempting to steer the conversation back on track, Phillip asked if the rap industry as a whole had protected Diddy, enabling his problematic behavior. At this point, a visibly frustrated Cam'ron turned to someone off-screen and demanded, "Who booked me for this joint?"
