Federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security conducted a raid on a mansion linked to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. SWAT vehicles and agents in bulletproof vests were at the property, where individuals were questioned and temporarily detained.
While there are rumors linking the raids to sex-trafficking allegations against Combs, federal officials have not confirmed this. Homeland Security Investigations released a statement confirming the ongoing investigation but did not provide further details.
The raid involved agents from HSI New York, as well as from the department’s L.A. and Miami offices, along with local law enforcement. An attorney representing singer Cassie Ventura, who accused Combs of rape and abuse before reaching a settlement, commented on the raids, suggesting that federal agents were gathering evidence of potential crimes. Legal analyst Alison Triessl explained that the search warrant aimed to collect evidence to establish any alleged crimes.
Neighbors noted unusual activity around the mansion, including black SUVs and late-night visitors, but didn’t think much of it. Combs was reportedly seen in Miami after the raids, but his current whereabouts are unknown, and it’s unclear if he has been in contact with law enforcement. KTLA reached out to Combs’ representatives for comment but has yet to receive a response.
